交渉に当たった役人が「どちらの方からきました」と
聞いたので、「アメリカという国は・・・」と説明しようとしたら、
「いや、そういうことではなくてサンフランシスコからまっすぐ
きたのか、それともニューヨークから喜望峰周りできたのか？
